Online workshop

This is a three session online workshop that will be taught live. Each session will be recorded and available to all participants whether you can attend live or not. Each week there will be homework that can be uploaded for critique and personal feedback. I will also review several assignments at the beginning of each class to give live feedback and answer questions.

I hope you will join me for a class packed with discussion about the importance of design and how to learn to see shapes in the landscape and their relationship to each other. I will also show many demonstrations that will include some master studies as well as lots of illustration of my own process and how I go from observation to painting via value studies, sketches, and layering my work. My online classes are geared toward open discussion, and I enjoy questions and curiosity. I welcome students of all backgrounds and from all around the world!
