I spent a day paining en plein air on Rose Island this summer. This is a tiny lighthouse island in the middle of the Narragansett Bay. The day was a bit overcast, but it made for some delicious muted greens against the gray backdrop of bay and sky. I liked this little peek through the bushes to the sailboats in the distance.
